Are you interested in engaging, enhancing, and enriching your career in Supply Chain? At Dow, we are seeking graduates and young professionals to join Dow’s Supply Chain Rotational Program and become the future trendsetters.

The selected candidates will be located at the Dow Diamond Center, Dow’s Supply Chain Hub for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India, in Terneuzen (The Netherlands) close to the Belgian border. Be part of an international team with 40+ different nationalities!

About the program

You will have the chance to rotate through 2 one-year positions within planning, logistics or improvement to gain a broad understanding of Dow’s Supply Chain.

  • Your 1st rotation will match your background and Dow’s career opportunities

During this 2-year program, you’ll get full ownership of your work from day one and take responsibility for your own career through trainings and additional projects. Our mentors will always be there to support you throughout your career.

About your assignments

Supply Chain Planning
You are responsible for what, when and where to produce for one production site, multiple production sites in Europe or multiple plants at one site. You ensure the materials are available in the desired quantities to deliver on time and in a cost-effective manner to the customers. The key objective is to balance the forecasted demand with the production utilization that influences the supply capabilities by working cross-functionally. This includes managing inventory levels and global supply decisions on a short- to mid-term time frame and determining and taking on improvement opportunities.

Logistics
You are the one who is responsible to provide and apply logistics knowledge and expertise to support the objectives of one or multiple business units. You advise business or functional clients regarding carrier management, responsible care, warehouse management, international trade or transport mode specific technical knowledge and cross functional support.

Improvement
Imagine identifying, assessing and supporting improvement projects within one of our Supply Chain or Logistics departments at a tactical or strategic level (e.g. inventory, purchasing costs, production costs, logistics costs, product quality, asset utilization, productivity and customer service). You will make sure the business has the capability to deliver and meet customer service and quality expectations in line with the strategy.

About you
  • A (soon-to-be) Master’s graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Less than 2-year professional experience
  • Passionate & dedicated to creating sustainable solutions

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
