My name is Adriana and I am a Process Engineer at the Böhlen plant. In September 2017, I completed my Master of Science in Systems Engineering and Engineering Cybernetics at Otto-von-Guericke Universität Magdeburg. My master thesis was focused on the modelling of a dividing wall column in an existing chemical plan, which awakened my interest in working in the chemical industry. After having a short experience within research, I decided to switch back to the industry. What I was missing was the opportunity to enjoy the direct application of the technology and the collaboration with engineers. At that time, Dow was looking for new engineering profiles, and hence I applied for a Process Engineer position. What surprised me most at Dow was to be part of a team from the beginning of my career. You can count on all your colleagues for support with questions and problems. What I like most about this company is the opportunity to go back home with more knowledge every day. You can learn new things at every moment of your working day. In addition, you will have colleagues from all around the world who are very cooperative and helpful.
